China’s first cross-border e-commerce express line of the “Silk Road Shipping” delivered over 20,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) of goods worth more than 8 billion yuan ($1.17 billion) since it was launched on June 10 last year in Xiamen City, southeast China’s Fujian Province.

The Silk Road Shipping is an alliance jointly initiated in late 2018 by dozens of ports, carriers, and logistics service providers in countries along the Belt and Road.
