Baltic Dry Index climbs to 2485 up 73 points

Baltic Dry Index is compiled by the London-based Baltic Alternate and covers costs for transported cargo equivalent to coal, grain and iron ore. The index relies on a day by day survey of brokers all around the world. Baltic Dry hit a brief peak on Might 20, 2008, when the index hit 11,793.
