The ports of Valencia and Seville will strengthen their collaboration in common areas such as sustainability, decarbonisation and connectivity. This was reflected by the presidents of both port authorities, Aurelio MartĆnez and Rafael Carmona, at the working meeting they held at the facilities of the Port of Valencia where they highlighted the excellent relations between the two institutions and exchanged experiences in strategic actions for both port areas.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV), in addition to the president Aurelio Martƭnez, the general manager Francesc SƔnchez and the deputy president, Manuel Guerra. The representation from Seville was made up of the president of the Port Authority of Seville, Rafael Carmona, the general manager Ɓngel Pulido and the head of Business Development, Manuel GonzƔlez.

Valenciaport and the Port of Seville will continue to collaborate on projects to combat climate change, efficiency and improve connectivity, and to establish synergies that will benefit their operations and the competitiveness of their port communities. They are also making progress on joint initiatives based on digitalisation, such as the I RAIL project. This European initiative aims to improve the interoperability of the rail system in ports through the exchange of information in a digital and harmonised way, which improves the efficiency, safety and quality of the service.
