TECO2030 ASA (OSE: TECO) has obtained an order for 1 TECO2030 Ballast Water Therapy System (BWTS) from Avangard Shipyards, for the ship AVANGARD II, price roughly NOK 1 million.

This BWTS order was landed by TECO2030’s group in Miami, USA. This confirms TECO2030’s place available in the market as a most popular BWTS associate and proves our capabilities to cooperate with shoppers around the globe.

Ballasts are reservoirs used to stabilize ships in line with their load. With the intention to forestall invasive species from travelling from one area to a different, and doable well being points, a ship’s ballast water must be handled earlier than being discharged again to sea. Our system complies with the brand new G8 guidelines which had been enforce in October 2020. TECO2030 Ballast Water Therapy System complies with Worldwide Maritime Group and United States Coast Guard guidelines.

“The sale of present and confirmed know-how to scale back emissions and air pollution from ships, means TECO2030 can have significant income streams whereas we work on our most bold challenge, the event of the TECO2030 Marine Gas Cell, a hydrogen-based gasoline cell particularly developed for maritime use,” says Tore Enger, CEO of TECO2030 ASA.

“The order from Avangard Shipyards, completely illustrates this mix of short-term gross sales and long-term growth. By 2024, all ships will want a ballast water therapy system,” Mr. Enger added.
