Elliott Bay Design Group (EBDG) has teamed up with Silverback Marine to design a compact but highly effective tugboat that may be transported by truck.

The tug has a complete size of 25′-10 “, a beam of 14′-6” and a depth of three’-4 “. This ship’s design gives a tug that’s simple to hold in workplaces with ample energy.

With 500 horsepower, the tug can carry a bollard thrust of greater than 12,500 kilos and has a water hole of 60 nautical miles that pushes about 10,000 kilos at 4.1 knots.

The design will include the choice of electrical, hybrid or outboard drive and may even be tailored to go well with a selected operation. This tug can be utilized with a float as an alternative choice to a standard bigger ship and gives flexibility that isn’t accessible in normal designs. This ship could also be manned by a single human crew and doesn’t require compliance with United States Coast Guard rules, Subchapter M.
