Japan’s Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK), by way of its subsidiary France LNG Delivery, has concluded a fourth LNG service long-term constitution with France’s EDF LNG Delivery.

A ship order has been positioned with South Korea’s Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries. The 174,000 cu m ship will ship in 2025 and can fly the French flag. No costs for the newbuild or the constitution have been revealed.

NYK government officer Hironobu Watanabe mentioned, “We are going to proceed to offer EDF with steady LNG transportation companies underneath our sturdy partnership, contributing to power transitions around the globe.”
